Position Overview:

Responsible for sales and technical support duties for customers or prospective customers. Duties include coordinating sales meetings, communications and correspondence with customer.

Reports to V.P. Sales & Technology Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer requirements to determine type of equipment, design, specifications, features and special service requirements on which to base a total cost estimate.
• Maintain the estimating priorities and schedules.
• Develop sales proposals/quotations.
• Prepare material for sales presentations.
• Participate in the Order Entry Process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent and a minimum 5 year related experience in hydraulics or mechanical systems sales or engineering
• Knowledgeable with Personal Computer, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, database business software and internet literacy
• Sales and marketing experience/exposure a plus
• Proficiency providing proposal drawings in Solidworks & AutoCAD

Desired Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
• Epicor ERP knowledge a plus
• Foreign language skills a plus.
