*Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour(The salary is negotiable. Depends on your skills)

*Details:

  • Evaluate the customer’s prescription and visual requirements to recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, frames, and features as appropriate for each customer.
  • Provide direct support to customers in selecting, ordering, fitting, and adjusting eyewear; taking facial measurements (including measuring pupillary distance, temple length, bridge, eye size, optical centers, and bifocal placement); taking facial measurements; and ensuring that eyewear meets facial measurements and optical prescriptions under the supervision of the Dispensing Optician.
  • Welcome customers in a prompt and friendly manner; maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor when performing job duties, especially when interacting with customers.
  • Address customer needs in a prompt and friendly manner, while actively seeking to understand customer concerns, requests, and expectations.
  • Understand and handle customer complaints regarding products, services, sales, or other matters with honesty and integrity, while taking initiative to find appropriate resolutions.
  • Perform sales activities including providing customer assistance, processing payments, sales, and returns, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Inform customers of the store’s return and replacement policy, product and pricing information, warranty, and the proper use and care of eyewear.
  • Foster a vibrant and friendly atmosphere by building good communication and strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and managers, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Attend regular staff meetings with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to understand company announcements and daily sales goals.
  • Attend mandatory training and fully understand contents in order to provide excellent customer service in accordance with company standards.
  • Uphold company and operational standards for the retail store, including but not limited to the arrangement of eyewear displays and cleanliness.
  • Maintain records of customer prescriptions, orders, payments, and other patient or business records in compliance with company policy and applicable privacy laws concerning patient information.
  • Understand the store, types and features of products, and product layout in order to quickly guide customers to their desired product.
  • Wear appropriate attire and maintain a professional personal appearance in accordance with the company dress code.
  • Process and verify inventory shipments received.
  • Adjust and fit eyeglasses using pliers, heating equipment, and hands to shape or bend frames under the supervision of the Dispensing Optician.
  • Assemble eyeglasses by cutting and edging lenses, and fitting lenses into frames.
  • Process payment and perform daily sales activities (e.g., retail cashier duties).
  • Follow safety, health, harassment, and security policies of the company. etc...

  • High school or equivalent (G.E.D) education
  • English:Business Level
  • ABO Certification preferred
  • One year of retail experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
