AIT Composites has a limited number of openings for:

Composite Technician:

Position Type: Full Time – Hourly (40 hours/week) 0700-1730 M-Th (Some OT)

Reports To: Operational Management

Benefits: Paid Time Off, Medical Insurance (after probationary period), Continuing education

Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Driver’s License (Preferred)

• $22-$26/hr Dependent on Experience
• Willing to train motivated people.
• Thrive in a dynamic and changing work environment.
• Composites, carpentry, or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude in the face of challenges.
• Learn, implement, and adhere to AIT Composites Quality Control Plan, Standard Operation Procedures and Safety Guidelines to ensure AIT Composites core values are met.
• Knowledge of Pultrusion and Vacuum Infusion processes is a plus, but not a requirement. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.

Work environment and Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50 lbs unassisted or with proper equipment.
• Tolerant of working with fiberglass, carbon fiber and resin materials.
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment is required.
• Ability to spend 90% or more of time working in manufacturing area on concrete floors.
