Job Description

• Address open and incoming work orders and service requests thoroughly, professionally, efficiently and in a timely fashion.
• Perform maintenance work including minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance, changing locks, appliance repairs, grounds-keeping etc.
• Turn vacant apartments and prepare them for sale or rent
• Preserve and improve the condition and functionality of the property and units.
• Report back to the manager and administrator on completed work orders so that they can be closed out and tracked in our online service request system.
• Note and report other issues discovered upon the repair visit so that follow up service requests can be created as needed.
• Assist with general upkeep and cleaning procedures (e.g. landscaping)
• Provide AMAZING customer service for our tenants while consistently improving the long term value for the investors and owners
• HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE
• Be a team player and provide exemplary customer service to our tenants.

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime, if needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone with limited direction from a supervisor and be responsible for observing all health and safety guidelines.
