AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for over 60 years. We are looking for a full-time lowboy driver to join our team. This position is Monday - Friday, first shift, and will be stationed out of our Lansing branch. Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and haul heavy rental equipment to job sites/customers as needed
• Load and unload the lowboy
• Make all deliveries within appropriate time parameters and keep management team updated on schedule if change occurs
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Handle basic maintenance of the lowboy including keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Valid state-issued driver's license with clean driving record
• Class A CDL with air brakes (automatic-only CDL is acceptable)
• Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
• Able to pass a background screening and drug test
• Preferred: Experience in related field and knowledge of heavy construction equipment

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
