The duties and responsibilities of Wind Technicians consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Wind technician experience requirements may vary based on the level of technician needed.
The incumbent must have knowledge of basic computer skills and applications, core mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to climb up to 400 feet.
Body Positions: Sitting, standing, walking, and climbing.
Body Movements: Walking, turning head and torso, bending arms, wrists and fingers. Must have capability to lift to 50 pounds.
Body Senses: Must have corrected vision and hearing and ability of English language speech.
Mathematics: Must be able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and perform basic mathematics as needed.
Language: Must communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing to prepare estimates, coordinate instructions for team personnel, and interact with customers.
Mechanical: Must have knowledge of the equipment required in the work to be performed in the projects
