Our major client, in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work within their facilities located in Kenedy, TX for a 6-month assignment (subject to extension).

*This is an entry-level position, we are looking for someone mechanically inclined, willing to start or develop a career in the Oil and Gas industry. 
Key Accountabilities:

• Ensures the successful ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities.
• Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance work at production and support facilities
• Ensures the daily work status is captured and next days schedule is reviewed and communicated with appropriate personnel
• May communicate with service providers to ensure their availability to meet the schedule needs.
• Ensures work plans are completed in a safe and timely manner.

Required and Preferred Skills:

• Entry-level, typically 0-3 years of experience.
• Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
• Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.
• Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures.

Work Schedule: 5/40 (Monday to Friday)
