Airline Coach Service is Hiring a Transportation Supervisor Near Burlingame, CA

Airline Coach Service is a transportation company specializing in providing airline ground transportation/shuttle service for all Bay Area airports from San Francisco International Airport (SFO), San Jose International Airport (SJC) Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Sacramento International Airport (SMF) since 1986.

We are looking for a bright and energetic entry-level assistant transportation supervisor who will work with our Operations Management team in handling the day to day business aspects of our operation. Communication skills, computer skills, customer service skills and multitasking skills are key for this position. Previous management level skills are not a requirement, yet the right candidate should have the ability to utilize a computer, printer and fax machine; utilize software/phone applicatins and train and lead a team - providing guidance and instruction on policies and processes.

The selected candidate must have flexibile availability and willingness to drive and service customers at least 50-60% of their on duty work time. This is an hourly paid position so Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor employees' attendance and performance
  • train and coach staff on policies and procedures
  • reinforce company goals and safety standards
  • assist in creating training for our drivers
  • implement safety training on an ongoing basis
  • ensure vehicles are maintained and in top working order
  • Assist with employee schedules
  • Review and approve timesheets
  • proficiently work with computers and software programs
  • assist with the hiring and interviewing candidates

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1 year previous experience in similar or prepartory role (management level not required)
  • Self-directed - able to get the job done with a strong work ethic

  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Follow-through skills
  • Good computer Skills (Excel, Word)

  • Clean Driver's License
  • Valid California Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,304.50 - $71,420.47 per year
