Types of equipment we will teach you to operate Mill Operator Extruder Calendar sheet Operator (*you’ll understand what this is when you see it) Rubber mixer Weighing and Measuring Responsibilities: Using formula sheet (think of a recipe card) list of ingredients required for your part of the process; start with the end product in mind in learning how to mix rubber Loading and unloading of ingredients from pallets, you need to be able to safely lift 50 lbs repetitively and move heavy items on a regular basis Operate the equipment that mixes our rubber productsPackage and label the completed rubber productRequirements: Some post-secondary courses or on the job training in manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar industrial setting is preferred 1 year working in an industrial setting OR restaurant, hospitality, lawn care are all transferrable skillsVery comfortable using a wide variety of tools, equipment, standing for prolonged periods of time Must be able to work in a non climate-controlled environment Ensure the quality of your work both visually and by using specific tools to test the qualityOther DetailsIdeal for those who are looking for a career transition role; we are growing!This position advertisement is an overview of the role and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties.
