Air Temp Mechanical Services, Inc. is Connecticut’s largest independent HVAC contractor. We are a full service mechanical contracting firm that specializes HVAC, building management systems (BMS), energy efficiency and advanced energy solutions for commercial buildings and industrial buildings, we design, implement, and evaluate programs that help our clients achieve their energy efficiency goals. We are seeking a dedicated DDC (Tridium / Niagara) Programmer & Applications Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible for the design, engineering, programming, graphics, support, as-builts, supervision and training of our Honeywell, Distech or Johnson Controls products.
• Support services for mechanical techs by providing tech with control support so repair can take place.(i.e. manipulating software providing information about equipment functionality)
• Performs assigned system commissioning using Honeywell, Dystek, and Solidyne configuration and commissioning tools
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical and control problems
• Respond to basic warranty calls
• Loads system-level controller software
• Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues
• Completes administrative tasks including quoting jobs, creating service tickets and on site documentation
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in the controls business
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and DDC electrical controls systems. Additional training may be provided if needed.
