In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of a bowling center operational activities, rules, and procedures; ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of bowling equipment and facilities are desirable; However, no experience is required. Must be physically able to lift and frequently stand and walk. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Responsibilities:

Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering ton established standards. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment.

Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems.

Performs other related duties assigned.
