Air Hydro Power is Hiring an Electrical Panel Fabricator Near Louisville, KY

Description

Summary Constructs custom assemblies and fabricates value-added electrical panels per schematics as needed by customers and for stock.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Fabricate and construct custom stock assemblies by performing the following: soldering, grinding, painting, electrical wiring, using general hand and power tools, as well as performing various diagnostic and trouble-shooting practices.

Interact and take direction from the Assembly Division Coordinator and management team for scheduling and prioritizing assembly projects and methods to use in completing tasks.

Use calculators and charts to determine appropriate components to be used in some assemblies.

Document new and changed custom assemblies using digital cameras, computers, scanners, and electronic drawings in conjunction with applications engineering.

Testing completed units to the prescribed standards as required and specified by customers.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills Individual must have the ability to learn corporate ERP system.

Other Skills and Abilities

Soldering, grinding, painting, electrical wiring, hose and tube fabrication, along with use of general hand and power tools.

Other Qualifications Some overtime may occur on short notice due to high customer order levels.
