Duties :

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Education Services Officer (ESO) in providing professional and specialized administrative and technical assistance in the development of the education services program at Joint Base Andrews and serve as a lead professional education services specialist providing general adult education and career development counseling in a joint service environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES : aka DUTIES

• Project officer for visiting school program and overall educational outreach.
• Project officer for the installation for the Transition, Goals Performance, Success (T-GPS) Accessing Higher Education (AHE) Track and Military life Cycle (MLC) programs.
• Administers individual, career, and academic advisement to military personnel of all ranks, their dependents, and civilian personnel pursuing undergraduate / graduate, vocational, technical, licensure / certification, and professional development opportunities at various levels.
• Cost Center Manager for the military Tuition Assistance (TA) program and Government-Wide purchase Program (GPC).
• Serves as primary Test Control Officer (TCO) for the Air Force Institute Advanced Distributed Learning (AFIADL) testing program and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
