Job Summary
Under general supervision, and following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, is responsible to the Manager, of Patient Relations and Guest Services for monitoring the entrances of the organization to ensure team members and visitors are free from illness, appropriately screened and directed to applicable location. Must also provide "world class" service to all patients, visitors, physicians and staff by creating an exceptional experience beginning with their first impression. This service includes interactions in a timely and professional manner with all. Demonstrates a "can do" attitude. Exhibits flexibility in job responsibilities and hours of work. Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Hospital work experience or Customer Service experience in a health care setting preferred.
* Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn how to access EPIC.
* Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must demonstrate conflict resolution and organizational skills.
* Bi-lingual skills preferred.
