Air Center Helicopters is Hiring an Aircraft Technical Records Specialist Near Burleson, TX

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an Aircraft Technical Records Specialist to join our team. As an Aircraft Technical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for the recording and posting of aircraft, engine components, and maintenance service records into the electronic tracking software, as well as associated reports and maintain files of associated data.

Duties:

-Maintain accurate, up to date records of the aircraft and components, total time, time since overhaul, time since last inspection, and overhaul data on each aircraft. Maintain electronic maintenance tracking system and component hard cards.

- Maintain complete and up-to-date historical records on each aircraft, engine, and required accessories.

- Maintain an aircraft status report to keep all maintenance personnel posted on the last inspection and last overhaul of each aircraft.

- Assist Director of Quality/Chief Inspector in the completion and submission of all monthly reports, maintenance forecast reports, as well as all other reports required by the Federal Aviation Administration.

- Audit all maintenance logs before entering data into records. Apply corrections accordingly using red pen. All discrepancies will be brought to the attention of the Chief Inspector.

- File all maintenance logs, Ensure organized, accurate, and complete files.

- Process and distribute daily and monthly reports reflecting most current aircraft data.

- Conduct periodic audits of database records to ensure accuracy of content.

- Respond to inquiries from maintenance department on statistical and historical aircraft data.

- Manages replacement of FAA Airworthiness Certificates and Aircraft resignations on active aircraft.

- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Quality/Chief Inspector.

Education, Licenses, Certifications and/or Years of Experience:

- Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Experience / Qualifications:

- Must have have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Must possess valid driver's license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.

- This is a DOT/FAA regulated safety-sensitive position that is subject to DOT Random Drug & Alcohol testing in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 and 14 CFR Part 120.

- Ability to successfully pass a background check.

- 5 or more years' experience.

- Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.

Experience Preferred:

- Prior experience with Rotorcraft and WinAir is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

- Must have intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office automated programs.

- Ability to manage multiple duties, priorities, and special assignments daily, corresponding with operational needs.

- Capability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment and maintain precision under deadlines.

- Aptitude to operate independently in self-directed fashion.

- Willingness to collaborate with others on direct team and partner organizations.

- Effective time management and organization skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods of time, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not more than 40 lbs.

- Work may be in hot or cold outdoor and indoor environments.

- Finger agility for keyboarding

- Speaking, hearing, and understanding English.
