The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for scholarly and creative activities (professional development) and service to the college. Job Duties: 1. Instruct in-person Theater courses as needed, for the Arts & Sciences division. 2. Assist in program/curriculum evaluation, articulation, revision and development. 3. Participate in on-going professional development. 4. Assist with evaluation and selection of textbooks and other resource materials. 5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair and the Academic Dean. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis. 1. Master’s Degree or Master’s of Fine Arts in the Theatrical Arts from an accredited American university, granted by date of employment. 2. Experience teaching at the post-secondary level. 3. Consideration will be given to education at the graduate level applicable to teaching undergraduate humanities courses. 4.
