JOB GOALS:  

Performs any combination of the following instructional tasks in the classroom to assist teaching staff by performing the following duties. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supplements and reinforces the work of the teacher. 
• Assist with all school paperwork such as; report cards, transcripts, grades sheets, work samples, and fourth file. 
• Discusses assigned teaching areas with the teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Tutor students individually or in groups with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts. 
• Assist with organization of the classroom files, closets, bulletin boards etc. 
• Prepares, administers, and grades examinations. 
• Provide appropriate EL strategies, accommodations and modifications and supplementary materials to support the language acquisition for our English Language Learners. 
• Assists instructional personnel in the implementation of individual educational plans for students experiencing bilingual/bicultural instructional needs.
• Tutors individuals and small groups of students to reinforce and follow up learning activities.
• Instructional push in and pull out intervention support
• Develops and assists in the development of specialized instructional materials.
• Administers and scores tests to determine student language proficiency levels.
• Assist in teaching 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AA Degree from an accredited community college 
• Fingerprint and Tuberculosis screening 
• Bilingual preferred/desired 
• AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District does not provide J1 or H1B Visa Sponsorship
