General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Administrator is a professional position with experience working with individuals with IDD and MH. Duties include monitoring of the individual support plan (ISP) to ensure that it is integrated and coordinated to best meet the individuals’ needs, and to provide oversight and direct services to individuals as part of a specific caseload. Carry out AIMED’s services as required and meet the expectations of state and county regulations. 

Specific Duties:

The program administrator shall be responsible for the following:

  1. Complete new admissions process in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services and Admissions.
  2. Coordinate and complete assessments according to regulations.
  3. Manage all annual doctor appointments in conjunction with the Residential Supervisor and act as a backup to appointments when necessary.
  4. Ensure that all participant information is entered into Therap.
  5. Schedule and monitor annual medical appointments.
  6. Submit incidents into EIM.
  7. Manage site supplies and order when necessary.
  1. Provide assessment as needed.
  2. Participate in the development of the ISP, annual update and ISP revision.
  3. Attend the ISP meetings and send email notice and changes to S.C. and team.
  4. Attend monthly team meetings.
  5. Act as backup and assist with shift coverage.
  6. Manage site issues when necessary and complete site weekly monitoring.
  7. Fulfill the role of plan lead, as applicable and relating to the development of the annual ISP; and ISP review and revision.
  8. Review the ISP three-month review with individual, annual updates for content accuracy.
  9. Reporting content discrepancy to the SC, as applicable, and plan team members.
  10. Implement the ISP as written and provide staff training as needed.
  11. Provide oversight to the care, support and guidance of all assigned individuals to ensure a safe, healthy, secure and pleasant environment, which promotes and reinforces individual growth and development.
  12. Support the Residential Supervisor with care and doctor appointments when necessary.
  13. Review, sign and date the monthly documentation of an individual’s participation and progress toward outcomes.
  14. Report a change related to the individual’s needs to the SC, as applicable, and plan team members.
  15. Provide the documentation of the ISP review to the SC, as applicable and plan team members as required.
  16. Inform plan team members of the option to decline the ISP review documentation as required.
  17. Recommend a revision to a service or outcome in the ISP.
  18. Coordinate the services provided to an individual.
  19. Pass medication at least once a month to remain medication certified.
  20. Develop and implement provider services as required.
  21. 24-hour on call.
  22. Other duties as assigned.

A program administrator shall have one of the following groups of qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with ID&D, dual diagnosis and autism. Associates Degree with five years of experience.Must have at least 3 years demonstrated experience supervising. Must have valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.

  • Must be 18 year of age or older
  • Must clear ACT 33, 34 and 73 (criminal)
