AIA COUNTERTOPS Divisions of Patrick Industries located in Syracuse, IN, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our highly qualified maintenance team on 1st shift! The ideal candidate for this role will have 3 years of experience working independently and managing projects to completion. The right individual must be self-driven, highly motivated, and work under little to no supervision.

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery. Your primary responsibilities will involve performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to minimize equipment downtime and prevent failures.

· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve problems promptly.

· Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

· Calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

· Collaborate with production personnel to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.

· Comply with safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.

· Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and maintenance techniques.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting modifications to equipment or processes to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.

· Support and manage janitorial direct report

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

· Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.

· Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and motors.

· Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.

· 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience

· 5 years of factory experience

· Strong electrical troubleshooting

· Knowledge of 24VDC Control systems

· Proficient in reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Strong ability to take verbal and written instructions to work through unfamiliar technical problems

· Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE

· Must be able to work cohesively with all members of the Maintenance team
