Description:

We are an owner-operator company seeking a dedicated and experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join our team. As an OTR Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across multiple states. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with at least 2 years of experience and a willingness to run loads primarily in California, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26ft box truck in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Transport goods and/or products over long distances, adhering to delivery schedules and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and distributed within the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues or damage and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, cargo shipments, and any incidents or accidents that occur during a shift.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver, with a valid class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including manual transmission vehicles, and navigating long-distance routes efficiently.
• Thorough understanding of load securement techniques and regulations, with experience in securing various types of cargo.
• Previous experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving preferred, with a willingness to primarily run loads in California, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
