Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Hospital, a privately owned, full-service general practice, is in search of a top-notch Vet Assistant to help make sure the pets in our care live long, healthy lives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant is required

• A super friendly and fun demeanor - this team works hard but has fun doing it!

• Dependability - as part of a small team, you are counted on to help things run smoothly

• The desire to not only use the skills you already have but learn new or improved techniques

• A love for fast-paced days that keep you on your toes

• The ability to anticipate needs and the initiative to act accordingly

Core Responsibilities

The skills you worked hard to gain will be appreciated and utilized fully at Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Center! We will count on you to:

• Deliver excellent patient nursing care
• Collect history of your patient

• Provide superior client service using great communication skills

Hours & Availability

This is a full-time opening with 35-40 hours per week. Your set schedule will be between the hours 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday and 7am to 1pm on Saturdays. Balancing your professional goals with your personal time is easier when you work at ACVH with a full day off during the week!

Compensation & Benefits

The starting pay range for this position will be between $16 and $19 per hour, depending upon your level of experience.
