We are looking for dedicated, caring Neonatologist Nurse Practitioners to provide medical care for premature and critically ill newborn infants. The NNP will work as lead to a multidisciplinary team in our Level II NICU to ensure newborn infants receive the proper treatment for growth and healing.

NNP responsibilities:

• Act as support to neonatologists in care of newborn infants in the NICU
• Assessing, diagnosing, and carrying out care for at risk newborn infants. Designing treatment plans for infants staying in the NICU
• Ordering and performing necessary medical tests and procedures, up to and including neonatal resuscitation.
• Educating and supporting parents and guardians in the care of their infant
• Medication management in partnership with the neonatologist

Requirements:

• A Master of Science in Nursing.
• Certifications as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Two years NICU experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
