The Radiology Technologist operates at least 2 Radiology modalities as designated. Selects proper exposure factors and demonstrates a through knowledge of radiographic positioning.
Practices radiological technology in a manner that ensures radiation safety for self and the patient. Performa diagnostic procedures on a minimum of two (2) modalities. Demonstrates competency and proficiency with x-ray equipment in various locations such as ER/ICU portables and C-Arm in OR.
Licensed by the State of California in Radiology, Fluoroscopy and one other Modality. Certified by The American Registry of Radiological Technologists preferred. Current Basic Life Support Certificate.
