Overview
Performs laboratory test procedures in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory, using good judgment and independent actions. Have good communication skills and the ability to effectively provide customer service to all customers. Extended duty and on-call may be required as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
Qualifications
B.S. or B.A in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a licensed and accredited Acute Care Facility.
Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from the State of California Department of Health Services.
Performs laboratory test procedures in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory, using good judgment and independent actions. Have good communication skills and the ability to effectively provide customer service to all customers. Extended duty and on-call may be required as needed
