Now Hiring for Direct Support Professionals.

A DSP functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. They assist individuals develop basic living and social skills to gain optimal independence and integration into the community.

Depending on the individual, DSP's provide assistance with living skill development, health maintenance, medication administration, personal care and behavioral development / management.

Most importantly, the goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Pay : $17 / hr.

Location : East Bethel, MN

Hours : Various shifts available

Essential Job Duties

• Assisting clients with everyday activities (cleaning, cooking, chores, etc.)
• Medication Administration
• Documenting (keeping track of clients and how they are doing)
• Socializing / interacting with clients (maintaining a positive demeanor)
• Partaking in outings (driving to appointments, shopping, movies, etc.)

Requirements

• No experience required but is always welcome! Paid training will be provided.
• 18 years or older
• Must be able to pass a MN DHS background study
• Communication & computer skills
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
