Job Title: Filling Machine Operator

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Filling Machine Operators average 40 hours per week and have the potential to earn $29,120 per year!

Description of responsibilities:

• Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect Tex Clean products, verifying and adjusting product measurement to meet specifications.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operations and replenish packaging supplies.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms lifting devices, flatbed trailers and trucks, or other transport vehicles according to ticket orders.
• Accurately document incoming and outgoing documented paperwork for all orders.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct daily operations in a manner that uphold AHI safety procedures.
• Maintain AHI’s equipment by conducting daily inspections of valves, tanks, and pumps and promptly inform management of maintenance problems.
• Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
• Review inventory levels and determine inventory production for each Tex Clean product line.
• Operate forklift to move material.
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts.
• Move material by hand.
• Turn in documented paperwork for incoming and outgoing inventory.
• General warehouse duties such as: sweeping, picking up trash, wrapping pallets, stocking, cleaning, etc.

Required experience and skills:

• Must have a minimum of 6 months’ verifiable forklift experience (sit down forklift).
• Pre-employment respirator certification and fit test required.
• Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds.
