Ahead LLC is Hiring a Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift Near New Bedford, MA
The Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift is responsible for overseeing the associates in the garment/trim area. This position is also responsible for ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday; 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
- Mandatory OT is performed during the week, based on the needs of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee 5 – 10 Garment Trimmers.
- Prioritize & distribute work for team members
- Ensure quality
- Ensure on-time delivery
- Additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience
- Group or Team Lead experience is a must
Skills and Qualification:
- Ability to communicate and read instructions in English.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess initiative, energy and drive.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use hands, fingers and arms.
- Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
Vision Requirement:
- Close and distance vision.
- Color vision.
