Job Title: Training and Human Resources Coordinator

1. Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, record keeping, budget tracking, and reporting for measurement of training needs and results. This position will coordinate training schedules and evaluate applicable outside training resources. This position will work with the Corporate Training functional area to address training issues. This position will have responsibility to coordinate and track training and development programs, program grants, and initiatives. This position will lead the purchase requisition process for training proposals, relevant quotes, and reconciliation of invoices. Responsible to schedule training courses in coordination with the training team and modify with respect to any changes with internal customers. Provide monthly and annual reports to the Manager of Corporate Training & Development including distribution of training effective surveys. This position will also assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions, duties, and assist with special projects as needed.

Proactively respond to student and management training requests with timely,

accurate and appropriate responses to inquiries. Coordinate and track training 

and development programs, program grants, and initiatives

Evaluate internal and external training requests and resources. Create requests for 

quotes to external vendors for content, schedule, and pricing; and provide findings

to Manager of Corporate Training and Development, for final selection of 

training resource. Lead the purchase requisition process for training proposals, 

relevant quotes, and reconciliation of invoices

Create, publish, and coordinate training schedules with hiring, training, and 

workload demands including venue, participant invitations, and materials 

production. Ensure available courses are filled to capacity. Responsible to 

schedule training courses in coordination with the training team and modify with 

respect to any changes with internal customers Manage cancellations in conjunction 

with the various departments. Maintain intranet page.

Enter training records into HRIS training database and external database 

electronic records. Database entry includes the creation of courses, attendance dates,

test scores, certificates, and OJT records to ensure compliance with the FAA, 

other regulatory agencies, and the company’s needs.

Generate and analyze training reports from HRIS, Excel, and SAP for budget, 

forecast, and corporate reporting. Tracking, preparation, and timely submission of 

state and local training grant packages for reimbursement to the company. 

Create training surveys. Analyze data and provide feedback to the Corporate 

Training Department regarding course requests and evaluations. Provide monthly 

and annual reports to the Manager of Corporate Training & Development 

including distribution of training effective surveys post course completion.

Provide skilled administrative support with the day-to-day operations of the 

Human resources functions and duties, and assist management with special projects as needed. Example, monthly reporting of foreign national data, I9 logs, running background checks, preparing/tracking/processing of requests to spend, posting invoices, first level resume screening, scheduling interviews, creating templates and forms, and running complex ad-hoc excel reports.

  1. Qualifications for Position

A. Education

BS degree in Business Administration, or equivalent experience

B. Experience

Three to five years of industry experience required, with a minimum of two years in a

Similar role. Must have at least 1 year working knowledge in SAP. Working knowledge of 

ADP Work Force Now is a plus.
