POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in the Aberdeen, Ipswich, or Redfield, SD or Oakes, Eldridge, or Strasburg, ND area. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk propane and service work to an established customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers bulk propane to customers.
• Completes propane system hookups and gas tests as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Prepare tank maintenance in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Communicates with customers as necessary.
• Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 0-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Willing to train the right applicant.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement with the ability to complete required propane training.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• English Proficiency
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
