Job Description :

AgState is currently seeking a motivated Feed Truck Driver to join our Feed Department. As a Feed Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering feed goods to our customers while upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with customers and collaborating with co-workers and other departments within AgState.
  • Drive a truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and conduct daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
  • Load and unload the truck efficiently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle in accordance with AgState's image.
  • Assist with other locations as needed.
  • Be a team player.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to AgState’s Safety Policy.

Qualifications

  • Meet the physical and medical requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 48 inches.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
  • Be prepared, if necessary, to wear a respirator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :

  • Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
  • 1-2 years of driving experience preferred, but willing to train.
  • Endorsements : Tanker, doubles, and triples preferred, but training assistance is provided to help obtain further endorsements.
  • No restrictions can drive manual transmission.
