What’s involved in this role: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician Lead in Lake Norden, SD. Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. Maintain and repair maintenance shop equipment. Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm Possibility of covering 6am-6pm if needed. Starting pay $36.97/hr Holiday pay and double time on Sunday What you need to join our team: Associate’s or Technical Degree or Trade School Certificate/Diploma required. Minimum six (6) years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment required. Experience in fluid processing and basic welding required. Experience with reading electrical and PID drawings required. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for longer periods of time. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
