The Maintenance Technician performs routine and break down maintenance on processing and packaging equipment and is responsible for keeping the plant running and in compliance with all rules and regulations by using safe methods of equipment repair/upkeep. The Maintenance Technician performs repairs as needed by the department, troubleshoots processes, and assists with machine set ups and rebuilds as needed. This position may manage and administer the preventive maintenance program. 3:30pm-3:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation Double Time on Sundays and holidays $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 7pm and 7am What you need: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical school coursework/Degree in boiler, welding, electrical, HVAC maintenance preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Where you’ll be working: Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey. Weyauwega is a quaint rural community of 1,900, offering the opportunity for both rural and urban living.
