The Summer Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general maintenance and compliance with all rules and regulations within the production area. This position requires being proactive and responding to priority issues in a systematic manner. Monday-Friday 8am-4pm Double Time on Sundays and holidays $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 7pm and 7am Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide general and preventative maintenance within production plant and warehouse as needed. Operate forklift as needed. Perform perimeter checks as scheduled. Provide transportation of parts as needed. Perform grounds maintenance on property as needed (snow removal, lawn care, garbage removal). Where you’ll be working: Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey. Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year. The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
