About our Operations Team:
The Operations team plays an integral role in our manufacturing and distribution process. Whether they are in a fast paced production role, or delivering product to customers in the field, this group consists of team players who possess the ability to quickly adapt to a variety of situations while using critical thinking skills to execute tasks.
About this position:
We're looking for an individual to provide temporary operations help during the busy season. This role will last from approximately April until the end of June. The primary focus of this position involves preparing or loading product for shipment, assisting the production team with set up for the manufacturing process and cycle counts. This is a great position if you have previous warehouse, general labor, farming or manufacturing experience. In this role you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing team and be a part of an organization that is dedicated to prospering the farmer.
- Prepare & load product for shipments or transfer: bulk, rail, pallets & racks
- Stage/set up for manufacturing production
- Operation of forklift, hand truck, dolly and other devices
- Assist with product cycle inventory counts
- Moving materials between departments using routings or tickets
- Off-load railcars & trucks and receive into inventory through computerized system
- Maintain & inventory product load samples
- General maintenance as directed
- Assist with maintaining LEAN operation tasks
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
- Assist with special site related projects as directed
- Additional misc duties as deemed necessary by management
- Related job experience – General labor, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, etc.
- Forklift experience
- Ag related experience a plus
- Excellent Customer Service and Communications Skills
- Basic Mechanical Aptitude
- Outstanding Attitude and Work Ethic
- Ability to stand; sit; lift; squat; stoop and/or move up to 50 pounds repetitively
