Position: Farm Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate custom application equipment to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other agrichemicals according to agronomist or farmer specifications.
• Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure accurate and precise application rates.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to protect personal health, equipment, and the environment.
• Communicate effectively with agronomists, farmers, and other team members to coordinate application schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor weather conditions and field conditions to make appropriate application decisions.
• Keep accurate records of application activities, including product usage, field conditions, and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding safety, environmental compliance, and product stewardship.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies, regulations, and best practices in custom application.
• Assist with other farm tasks as needed, such as planting, harvesting, and general farm maintenance.

Are You Qualified?

• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
• Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $65,500.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
