Agricruit is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Liberty, OH

Position: Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain agricultural equipment for applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other crop protection products.
  • Ensure accurate and precise application of chemicals according to agronomic prescriptions and safety standards.
  • Calibrate equipment to achieve proper application rates and coverage, minimizing waste and environmental impact.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Keep detailed records of applied products, equipment maintenance, and field conditions.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust application schedules accordingly to optimize effectiveness and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with agronomists, farmers, and other team members to develop effective crop management plans.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling, application, and disposal.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests from clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in custom application techniques.

Are You Qualified?

  • Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
  • Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $65,500.00 per year
