Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager for Environmental Assets

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Location: Nashville, TN

Position Summary:

As Senior Portfolio Manager for Environmental Assets, you will lead the monetization strategy for AgriCapture’s offset and inset projects. This role is ideal for a candidate who is deeply committed to agricultural sustainability and has demonstrated experience in carbon credit sales. Successful candidates will possess a strong capacity to understand emerging carbon market trends, regulations, and stakeholders.

Objectives of the Role

  • Develop and execute strategies for the sale of carbon credits and insets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Fortune 500 companies, understanding their sustainability goals and offering tailored solutions
  • Stay in tune with carbon market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in carbon credit quality and verification processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the portfolio’s performance and align with the buyer’s sustainability objectives
  • Provide thought leadership and insights on environmental asset management and carbon markets
  • · Represent AgriCapture in business development opportunities, including key conferences

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Agriculture or a related field
  • Proven experience in business, finance, sustainability, or a related role in the agriculture sector
  • Proven experience in portfolio management, preferably in agriculture, sustainability, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of the voluntary carbon market and experience in selling carbon credits
  • Possess robust network of buyers/traders/brokers in the carbon market
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence decision makers
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commitment to driving positive environmental impact through innovative financial solutions
