Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for our clients' industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of industrial equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Fabricate and install parts as needed
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Document all service activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
