• Manage feed contracts, enter drug receipts into the inventory system, and handle all other inventory-related tasks involving feed, medicine, and processing drug inventories.

• Back up processor to accounts payable tasks.

• Manage the processing, reporting, and filing of purchase card transactions.

• Support the Accountant in preparing fixed asset submission documentation.

• Assist the operation in taking delivery of commodity trucks during non-harvest month office hours.

• Serve as the scale back up during harvest season (June 1 – November 15) office hours and provide training and support to temporary scale employees.

• Ensure accurate recording of sale tickets to commodity contracts.

• Assist in the production and preparation of key management reporting for up-to-date contracts with vendors, including daily corn pricing.

• Track agreements with growers for corn and triticale harvest season.

• Coordinate with Farmers and be a point of contact for commodity questions and handle contract pricing requests.

• Research and resolve issues with commodity vendors.

• Crosstrain on critical admin staff responsibilities and serve as backup.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some post secondary education preferred.

• 2 years in accounting/bookkeeping/clerical work or equivalent combination of experience and education/training.

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and outstanding organization skills.

• Proficient with 10-key operations and general computer skills, including Microsoft tools.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

• Feed yard office experience or understanding of industry preferred

• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
