Currently, we are seeking a customer-oriented individual for our Springfield, MO location to support our ongoing priority of assuring excellent customer relations.

The Driver/Warehouse position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by delivering electrical supplies promptly and courteously while using excellent driving habits. This position will predominantly make deliveries but will work in the warehouse when needed.

This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver material to our customers in a company vehicle.
• Able to communicate with customers.
• Able to solve customer problems professionally.
• Familiar with an electronic delivery manifest system.
• Receive purchase orders using SxE and read order to ascertain catalog number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise.
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
• Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Maintain acceptable efficiency rates of both quantity of products pulled as well as accuracy.
• Maintain bin/shelf integrity by keeping pulling areas clean of debris (empty cartons, box tops, etc) and by keeping product organized on shelf.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged properly.
• Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• Maintain material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting battery to recharging station at the end of shift.
• Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.

• Assist in placing incoming items in inventory.
• May work additional hours to ensure the job assignment is complete.
• Performs additional duties as directed.
• 40 Hour work week (Monday – Friday) with O/T possible.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent driving record.
• 3-5 years’ experience in local delivery preferred.
• Excellent team skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy weights (up to 75 lbs).
• Valid chauffeur’s driver’s license (Class E) OR CDL License.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Customer focused attitude.
• Ability to work a smartphone.
• PC skills and previous driving, material handling and electrical supply knowledge a plus.
