Job Title: System Administrator

Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
Required Certification(s):
·DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security or higher).
·Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification.
·VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or equivalent certification.
SUMMARY
Agile Defense has an immediate need of hiring a System Administrator to work at Shaw AFB in Sumter, SC.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Ensure a secure operating environment by monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures.
·Provide technical assistance of all assigned projects.
·Support in providing desktop/server and software application integration support.
·Support in system configuration management.
·Support in providing software and firmware maintenance.
·Support in performing account management and work with the ISM.
·Support in the detection of problems associated with hardware, operating system, and application software.
·Support in analyzing and resolving problems associated with hardware, operating system, and application software.
·Support monitoring and analysis tools.
·Support in researching new technologies and software upgrades to workstations / servers for familiarity / keep up with current technological developments.
·Support in recommendations for COTS/GOTS application upgrades and implementation of new applications.
·Support in maintaining and semi-annually publishing a Comprehensive As-Built System Engineering Plan.
·Support Script development and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
·DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security or higher) AND
·Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification AND
·VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or equivalent certification
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
·Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field; OR 5 years of IT Domain Knowledge experience.
