Job Description: Law Clerk

Responsibilities
  • Assist our attorneys with day-to-day matters related to pre-suit or litigation cases.
  • Work with a team of attorneys performing legal research, record requests, process documents with the court system, and handle any other task assigned by the team to support a heavy caseload.
  • Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and memoranda.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation by organizing and managing case files, exhibits, and evidence.
  • Attend client meetings, court hearings, and depositions to observe and support attorneys as needed.
  • Review and summarize deposition transcripts, trial transcripts, and other discovery materials.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and communicating with clients.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree (preferred)
  • Law Student (minimum)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating client profiles/accounts
