Job Description: Alliance Ground International (AGI) is one of the largest independently owned ground handling company providing services to 100 airlines in 61 airports across the U.S. and Canada. As a Security Manager you will be responsible for the following: Overseeing the entire operating department. Develop and cultivate strong relations and retention with the airport authority and be an active member of the airport community. Ensure the account operates according to contract and service level agreement and coordinate interactions at all levels internally and externally. Provide hands-on supervision of the staff and delegate workload. Being a mentor and daily resource to supervisory personnel. Create a succession plan to identify, develop and train potential leaders. Manage attendance records and ensure appropriate coverage while controlling the budget for labor costs and allocation. Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation. Ensure that the required company audit requirements are always undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance. Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of all policies and procedures and ensure that all security staff are issued and displaying a relevant SIDA badge. Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties are treated with respect. Ensure the company's image is represented with the highest integrity. Building and maintaining Client Relations. Ensures Standards Operations Procedures and fiscal responsibility via cost effective budget management are met. Assist in the establishment and implementation of security training initiatives and conduct employee training & skill development of all department personnel as needed. Assist in the investigations in support of security, legal and administrative requirements. Administrative assignments include interviewing/recruitment, payroll review, data entry, overtime control and completion of billing in a timely manner. Conduct cargo screening and aircraft security to comply with airlines and TSA procedures as needed. Work closely with government entities (FAA, Transportation Security Administration, Customs) to ensure all procedures are followed. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Must have at least 3 years of security experience Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience. Must be 18 years or older Must have reliable means of transportation Must be able to walk, stand or sit for long periods at a time Must have valid driver's license Must have high school diploma Must be able to pass a 10 year background check Must be able to work weekends and holidays Alliance Ground International is an equal opportunity employer.
