CNC Programmer Trainee
Job Summary
We are hiring a full-time CNC Programmer Trainee in Blaine, MN. This is a direct hire position offering excellent benefits including tuition reimbursement, a small team feel and a flexible work environment. A successful candidate brings a positive can-do attitude, is a team player and willing to learn new skills. In this role you will develop/modify CNC programs for different machines, perform quality checks to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications and make manual adjustments as necessary. You will collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities

• Plan & program CNC machines based on specifications for customer part.
• Load raw materials onto machine.
• Ensure parts are fabricated to specifications using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, fixtures, and gauges.
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks on the CNC machinery.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read technical drawings/prints.
• CNC Programming experience.
• Computer operation skills.
• Familiar with computer-aided design programs
• Mechanical aptitude.

Education/Certification

• Associate’s degree in technical field with 2 years relevant experience
