About the Role

AgencyQ is looking to expand its team with a Sitecore Developer to work on CMS development projects. Specifically, we seek a Sitecore-certified developer with at least 5 years of experience. All candidates should also have experience working with responsive web technologies. AgencyQ is currently hiring for government contracts, and US citizenship is required. This is a remote work friendly position. However, proximity for occasional client meetings dictates that candidates be within the Washington, DC metro area. 

Technical Competencies

• Development using C#, following agile, iterative, or traditional methodologies; test and verify development.
• Hands-on experience using Sitecore or comparable .NET based CMS.
• Participating in the full life-cycle of software development, including requirements gathering, estimating, solution architecture, development, testing, and support developing, maintaining, and innovating. Integrating systems using internal and third-party APIs.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Dedicated to creating highly usable websites that optimize the user experience.
• Participating in all phases of the development process.
• Assist in the collection and definition of business and technical requirements.
• Assure delivery of the final product based on requirements.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team and excellent communication skills.
• Adhering to software development best practices.
• Ability to cross-train team members on Sitecore technologies/best practices
• Ability to identify and implement configuration patching in a logical and effective way
• Ability to lead root cause analysis determination of minor and major outages

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Sitecore Certified
• 5 years’ experience with Sitecore, including its additional features such as SXA, JSS, etc.
• 3-5 years of Azure or Solr experience (custom or standard search indexes)
• 3-5 years working with identity management or authentication
• 5 years’ experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• 5 years’ experience with SQL/TSQL and SQL Server 
• 5 years’ experience with Web API, XML, JSON
• 5 years’ experience working within a structured (iterative models preferred) development lifecycle methodology
• Experience with cloud and delivery automation technologies such as Azure & Azure DevOps
• Experience with container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with high-volume web applications
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as React, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
• Experience leveraging documented APIs
• Experience identifying and addressing performance and scalability issues
• Experience with middleware integration
• Experience with identity management/identity server customization
