AGC Chemical Americas is Hiring a Facilities Coordinator Near Exton, PA

This position is responsible for keeping the Exton facility up and running and to ensure a safe, functional and comfortable atmosphere for the Exton Staff; and will supervise and/or perform any and all repair, upgrades, and modifications to the building and equipment as needed.

· Leads the maintenance function for the Exton facility to ensure a safe and functional operation; ensures utility continuity.

·Works directly with all contractors, equipment manufacturers, building owners, Company management, government agencies and local law enforcement and emergency services.

· Leads and coordinates all repairs, installation, renovations and upgrade activities for the building and equipment.

· Prioritizes activities and communicates effectively to department leaders within the facility.

· Obtains quotes and coordinates all activities for contract work and ensures building availability.

· Creates, develops, identifies, and writes EPs for CAPEX

· Monitors and controls spending of maintenance budgets and Exton CAPEX

· Hands on installation of equipment, devices, electrical lines, cabling, or other related items

· Participates in facility safety improvement initiatives.

· Maintains equipment files and building blueprints.

· Manages calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for all Exton facility equipment.

· Maintains supplies, parts, and other materials compliant with company and legal requirements.

· Manages all security

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma with 5 years’ related experience, trade school certification a plus

· 5 plus years’ experience managing contractors.

· Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office

· Experience operating varied lab equipment and pilot-scale production equipment.

· Base understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and hydraulics is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills, strong organization skills, a firm grasp on dealing with contractors and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
