JOB SUMMARY

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing epic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable time at our establishment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service Excellence :

• Provide friendly and attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Follow the Agave & Rye steps of service.
• Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, and beverage options.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Efficiently take food and beverage orders from guests and accurately input them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks to guests while adhering to presentation standards.
• Monitor guest needs during the meal and anticipate refill requests or additional requirements.
• Promote daily specials, promotions, and upsell additional items.
• Present guests with accurate bills and process payments efficiently.

Restaurant Upkeep :

• Ensure that tables are clean, organized, and set up with appropriate utensils and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart, preparing them for the next diners.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
• Adhere to alcohol service regulations and verify the age of guests before serving alcoholic beverages.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is a plus but not mandatory. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
