JOB OVERVIEW

PURPOSE

Start Epic Hospitality from hello! Create a positive and welcoming impression for all guests as they enter Agave & Rye. Ensure proper seating of guests to maximize service efficiency.

Thank all guests for dining with us to ensure an Epic end of their visit.

Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask will be key in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone at our restaurant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Epic Greetings and Seating :

• Provide a positive first and last impression for our guests.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile and a warm welcome as they arrive.
• Manage the seating process efficiently, considering reservation schedules and table availability.
• Guide guests to their assigned tables and provide any necessary assistance.
• Accommodate special requests and communicate them to the service team.
• Keep track of wait times and manage the waitlist during busy periods.
• Answer phone calls and respond to reservation inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Record and manage reservations in the system accurately.

Waiting Area Maintenance :

• Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and comfortable for guests.

Carry-Out :

• Accurately package and label carry-out orders, double-checking food quality.
• Hand orders to guests efficiently and accurately.

Team Support :

• Collaborate with fellow team members and support them in providing excellent guest experiences.
• Assist in coordinating and organizing special events and private party reservations.
• Assist with various tasks as needed to ensure the overall efficiency of the restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as host / hostess or customer service, is preferred but not mandatory.
