Role : Dental Assistant
Location : Westborough, Massachusetts
Job Description : The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our dental office. This position involves direct patient care and support to our dental professionals, ensuring efficient treatment delivery and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Collect and record patient health histories.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Manage dental office inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the dental office.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred.
- Valid MA Dental Assistant license.
- CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
