Fertilizer Tower Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate automated system to load fertilizer
Work with loader operator to ensure the tower is full and operating efficiently
Ensure accuracy of batch sizes and product mixtures
Follow the central dispatch schedule to ensure correct product is loaded to each machine
Communicate with equipment operators, truck drivers and sales staff to ensure operations run smooth and efficient
Maintain the fertilizer tower, including maintain air-electrical gate actuators and air cylinders and grease bearings and joints
Complete facility and equipment maintenance during off season
